Teams to consist of 12 players playing as six pairs - minimum age 55 years on 21st October 2019.
Format - Pairs better ball Stableford - off yellow tees.
Full handicap allowance subject to maximum of 18. Players with a higher handicap may play but must play off a maximum of 18.
Buggies will be allowed on the day (subject to availability) if a player has a certified medical condition. Please contact the Pro shop on 01376 346079 to pre book, quoting the Golf Challenge Trophy 21st October 2019.
The winning team:
Will be the one with the best accumulated better ball total of the 6 pairs. In the event of a tie the lowest score of the pairs involved will be eliminated and the scores recalculated to obtain the winning team.
Will be awarded to the winning team and the runners up. Nearest the pin prizes will be awarded for holes 4th, 10th, and 14th with nearest the pin in two on the 8th.
Raffle prizes will also be awarded.
In addition, a prize for the best two ball of the day will be awarded.
Programme for the day:
Arrival from 7.30am. Please register at the reception desk upon arrival and collect scorecard, raffle ticket plus vouchers for tea/coffee & bacon roll and lunch.
Tee times will be from 8.30am from 1st and 11TH tees with nine games going from each.
Lunch will be steak and ale pie starting at approx. 2.30. Please advise us, when known, if any dietary options are required. Dresscode - jacket and tie please.
Please sit with your fourball in tables of eight as allocated. The draw for raffle prizes along with nearest pins and best two ball will follow the meal, finishing with the presentation of prizes to the runners up and the presentation of the trophy and prizes to the winning team.
Would team captains please bring a team raffle prize up to value of £25 for the raffle.
